Prem Acharya of Elam attempted self-immolation in New Baneshwar, Kathmandu. He died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment at Kirtipur Warn Hospital in Kirtipur.
He left his body on fire by posting his long experience of life on social media as to why he had to commit self-immolation. His attempt at self-immolation has been depicted as a story of his failure.

1. Zero vat on national product. Charge 20% on imported goods instead. VAT is the main cause of price increase in consumer goods.
2. Govt implement attractive market buying and selling policy like Buyers Pay First. End the loan market. Here, the leading producer/supplier has to follow the commercial brands like Bhatbhateni, Big Mart, Dabur Nepal. They have to keep giving goods to them on loan and after selling the same goods, they divert the money to other areas (shares, land) etc., open a term in the bank, collect interest and other additional profit earners and give them to the producer/supplier. . The rich are exalted by money, the poor are oppressed.
3. Implement Higher the Profit - Lower the Tax Rate tax policy. As the tax rate will decrease with more profits, all industrialists/businessmen will move towards making more profits.
4. Implement Land Leasing system. The people of Nepal have become lazy because the land will be transferred from generation to generation. Give the ownership of a piece of land to one person only for up to 50 years.
5. Change the Banking Mortgage Valuation System. Let the unproductive land in the city get the same valuation as the productive land in the village. If you keep 4 annas of land in the city in the bank, no money will come without selling it. But the productive land of the village continues to give income, the crops and production continue to bring in money and the bank loan repayment base is high.
6. Bring all houses under the tax ambit. 10,000/- monthly salary employees have to pay 1% TDS but what happens when the houses in the city that collect millions of houses per month do not pay tax? Do you know the government? Homeowners also pay tenants. A lot of your revenue is leaking into the house.
7. Big industrial and business houses like Bhatbhateni, BIG MART, Patanjali, Dabur Nepal, Unilever, have captured the market of Nepal, regulate the government. As they say, the market will go there. Do you know the government? In order to make their company profile high, national-international companies show the presence of their goods in Bhatbhateni, by giving them a high margin, instead of suffering a loss. But in the foreign market, the same goods are sold at a lower margin to make up for the loss to the farmers and the prices of daily consumer goods are increasing.

9. The government will issue a labor permit to those who want to go on official visa for foreign employment. Do you know? 14. Govt discourage privatization in education, health, public transport. These are the basic services that the state should provide to the people. The government should provide these goods and services in a simple and easy way within the reach of all. In this country, if you get sick, you have to die because there is no money for treatment.
15. Govt should provide mandatory housing facilities to government employees, teachers etc. Do you know? For a government officer living in a city, his monthly salary of 40,000-45,000 is not enough to cover housing, child education, medical treatment, etc. And what to do without corruption?
16. Govt to comprehensively reform the Public Procurement Act. It is not a contract for the one who confesses a little. The government should give development construction contracts to those who propose contracts according to scientific and modern development concepts.
17. Parliament should implement the system of punishment up to death penalty for corruption, heinous murder and rape etc.
18. Govt should end caste reservation and provide such reservation to farmers and poor only through identity card.
19. Govt should end open border with India. At least when an Indian citizen comes to Nepal, issue an on arrival visa from anywhere on the boarder for a certain period of time and always update its records, government.
20. Govt should always encourage domestic production and exports by substituting imports. Production increase oriented program in the country. The government should give every kind of encouragement to the manufacturing industry.
21. Close savings and loan cooperatives and microfinance. Do you know the government? 60% of our country's money is circulated through savings and loan cooperatives, only 40% is circulated through private and government banks. Apply the concept of co-operatives only to agricultural co-operatives, industrial co-operatives, etc.

25. Govt limit the interest rate of bank loans to never rise above 7%. Do you know?
