The Festival of Dipawali/Tihar.
The festival of dipawali or Tihar is one of the greatest. Festivals of Hindus. It generally falls on the month of kartik. This festival is also known as the festival of light people do clean their rooms and house during this festival shopkeepers also clean their shops during the Tihar festival. Brothers. From far places come to their sisters during this festival. The enjoy a lot by playing cards, deusi-bhailo, eating delicious foods playing swing and so on. The tihar festival is observed for five days. And, it is known as 'yama panchak' The first day of tihar is 'kag Tihar' People do worship the crow as their messenger on this day. The second day of Tihar is 'kukur Tihar',people worship the dog on this day. They do put red tika on its forehead and also a garland around its neek. They also give delicious food to it. Similarly, the third day of Tihar is 'Cai Thihar' of :axmi puja' in the morning we worship the cow, we do give it delicious food. In the evening,people place the garland of beautiful flowers on the doors of house. People light electric bulbs on their house, people also light candle and diyo on their house. People clean and decorate their house. After that they worship the goddess Laxmi. People enjoy this day very much. The fourth day of Tihar is Gobardhan Pooja. People do worship oxen on this day.
The fifth and last day of
Tihar is 'Bhai Tika' sisters worship
